Having joined Mediabrands Australia in January 2010, I was tasked with developing and building the SEO product, offering and team from scratch. Reprise Media Australia was to launch in February 2010 and with the migration from E-worx, brought a team of 6 paid search specialists to the new Reprise Media Australia team. Since February 2010, Reprise Media Australia has grown to 50 people with offices in Sydney, Brisbane, Melbourne and Perth, supporting the Media Agencies in Mediabrands Group; UM and Initiative Media.
In 2012, with leading Global and Australian companies and websites in our client roster, over paid search, natural search, social, analytics and other services, we are able to openly discuss the organic work that is undertaken by the team here in Australia, as all work undertaken by the team is conducted in Australia, with no outsourced link building work being undertaken, and the work that is conducted is based on a solid data foundation rather than solely the opinion of our expert onsite and offsite SEO team.
In 2012, the SEO team now numbers 17 people, with members of the team in all of the Reprise offices. The SEO product that has been developed is an ethical, white hat SEO service that offers transparency, accountability reliability in the SEO and analytics space to our clients.
I regularly speak at industry events as an online advocate on the topics of universal search (paid and organic), social, analytics and reporting as well as website content strategy.
